Wedding mystery solved!

Ever wondered why, after the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom get in their fancy car and drive off with the rest of the guests following in their vehicles, and everybody honks their horns while the procession randomly travels all over town, before returning to the church or picture-taking scene?  (I’m told this doesn’t happen in the east, though — sadly!)  We did that today.  And I think I’ve discovered the reason why.  Your wedding day, or someone else’s wedding day, is one of the very few days that you can drive all over town in a vehicle line-up, blaring your horn and making a general racket, or honking out the rhythm to the “Hallelujah Chorus” and have people SMILE at you very tolerantly instead of calling the police.  So, you might as well enjoy it!  I certainly did 😀
