So, I’m conducting a poll! (I figure it’s more interesting to do one of my own than what’s going on nationally in Canada right now!) I called Nesser tonight and tracked him down in the car with my brother, going to get someone. I asked him the same thing I asked McTom. His answer was that it’s an independence thing. The guy wants to figure out where he’s going by himself, and not admit that he can’t do it on his own.
My brother’s response? It appeals to the side that enjoys a challenge. “But it shouldn’t be taken too far,” he added. “If you’re lost, admit it!”
A few minutes later, Nesser reported to me that Andrew was going back and forth and didn’t know where to turn. But apparently he wasn’t lost. They SAY it’s called “Temporarily Directionally Challenged.” Hmmm. Well, at least the problem has a name 🙂
