I am thankful to be home…with a bathroom and running water, as I have previously said today!
I am thankful for my husband who takes such excellent care of me and is so patient and understanding with me. I’m thankful he’s willing to help me in the kitchen when Food + Lois are NOT a good combination!
I’m thankful that our baby is healthy and growing, even if its mommy isn’t being the most healthy eater. (I try!!!! But the salads come back up, and the fries stay down, so what am I to do?!) I am thankful for fries. They have never come back up, and they always fill my tummy and stop the hungry/sick/hungry/sick cycle for longer than anything else.
I’m thankful for Ginger-Mint tea that helps me avoid my nightly appointment with MP. He and I have seen too much of each other in the last 3 days! I guess that part of my sickness had subsided at little bit. I can handle my morning bouts — they’ve become quite routine now — but the losing my meals part had settled down a bit for a while. It’s hard to get used to again.
I’m thankful for toast and tomatoes — they have become my standard breakfast, giving me my dose of fruit (you can try an arguement with me over whether they’re fruit or veggies, but I won’t bite and argue back, ’cause I really don’t care! I just know that I WANT them!) and some bread to stay the hunger for a while.
I’m thankful for the chance to visit family in SK, and friends in BC. I’m thankful Jerry got to spend time with the kids in BC. They loved every minute with him, and soaked up his attention like sponges!
I’m thankful for the amazing opportunity we had to go to a harp recital in this tiny little town in the mountains of BC. Who would’ve thought that there would be TEN harpists gathered in MCBRIDE, of all places, for a week of intensive study!? The recital was amazing.
